March & April What’s Happenin’

Because life still happens outside of writing and goal setting, once a month I will note here what I’ve been up to, just so I can say I have actually lived a life when I look back at the end of the year.

Plus here is where I will shout out any recommendations, let me know if you have any yourself.

Soooo, What’s Been Happenin’

I had lunch with a friend at Madamme Hanoi’s on North Terrace. Don’t waste your time looking at the menu just get the tofu buns, you won’t regret it.

Went to the Women’s AFL semi-final at Unley. Crows vs GWS Giants. Look I’m not going to lie and say I watched the whole game intently but it was impressive and I got to have a good chat with my mate while the kids ran around.

Attended Trish Morey’s book launch for The Trouble With Choices. Trish was great fun I was disappointed I had to leave early. With Trish reading an excerpt from the book I definitely have The Trouble with Choices on my reading list.

No Lights No Lycra. It’s dancing in the dark so no-one can see you. Sounds weird? It is. But so cathartic and a must do.

Caught up with the lovely ladies from my aptly named Chicks Rule group.

I went to my very clever mother-in-law, Pam Eden’s art exhibition at the McLaren Vale Centre. Was a lovely afternoon with a few wines and beautiful art work on the walls.

Easter was a relaxing affair with family and then followed up with camping with friends at Shell Beach in the Innes National Park. An amazing piece of South Australia, well worth the drive.

Anyone got anything exciting coming up? Or even something not exciting coming up?

Drop me a line and let me know!
