March & April – Reading, Watching, Listening

Reading books, watching TV and listening to podcasts to me is all part of the job of being a writer. At least that’s what I tell myself when I’m hooked on a series and will do anything to binge watch it.

And word of mouth and reviews is the best way to spread the love of book, tv, podcast consumption. So, this is me, spreading the love.

What Am I Reading?

The Subtle Art of not Giving A F$#K. This book was one of those game changer moments for me. I am extraordinarily bad at reading self-help books but this was a very easy read and had me nodding my head along a lot of the time. It has great anecdotes that make it easy to relate to.

What Am I Watching?

Went and saw Boo Dyer Ginvincible at the Stirling Fringe. So, so funny and would go and see anything Boo is in. There was a small part of me that wanted to be her best friend, or at least go to her house for drinks.

Womad. Always delivers. Particularly this year with John Butler as the headline act. He had implored people to raise their voice against drilling in The Great Australian Bight. Check out what you can do here.
